Motorhome solar systems: power wherever you park
A well-planned solar system is the heart of every self-sufficient motorhome – silent, low-maintenance and free of charge, day after day.
Solar is our core service: we have planned and installed systems on virtually every vehicle type, from campervan to liner. Your leisure battery charges reliably, even when you wild-camp for weeks.
- Back-contact modules: more yield on limited roof space
- Victron MPPT controller with Bluetooth – up to 30% more yield
- Watertight roof entry, wiring to standard
- Personal briefing at handover
The right size for the way you travel
Weekend trips with a fridge and lights make different demands than overwintering in southern Europe with a laptop, TV and coffee machine. During the consultation we analyse your actual consumption and size the modules, charge controller and battery capacity to match your routine – not the other way around.
"Julians Original" – our proven solar package
Our most requested package: 2 × 120 W back-contact modules (240 W total), a Victron MPPT charge controller with Bluetooth smartphone monitoring, complete mounting kit and professional installation – for €2,095. Featured in the trade press. See the offer →
Installation to current standards
We bond and mount the modules professionally, route cables through the roof with watertight glands, size wiring and fuses correctly and document the whole system – decades of installations without leaks.

Frequently asked questions
How many watts of solar does a motorhome need?
Weekend campers often manage with 120–200 W; if you regularly camp off-grid or travel in winter, plan for 240–400 W plus a matching lithium battery. We calculate your needs from your real consumption.
Does solar charge in winter?
Yes – at reduced yield. Back-contact modules and an MPPT controller extract significantly more in diffuse light than standard technology.
Will the installation damage my roof?
No. We use vehicle-specific bonding and mounting systems and permanently seal every cable entry.
Can I expand the system later?
If we know that during planning, we size the controller and wiring for the target capacity from day one – expanding later then only costs the extra modules.
Ready for true independence on the road?
Call us or send an enquiry – we usually reply within one working day.
