Oyster Connect

Mobile, Wi-Fi and SIM hardware sits close to the roof antennas to shorten the signal path. The indoor unit creates secure Wi-Fi and also provides LAN.

Does a roof antenna really improve reception?

Yes. It sits outside the metal body and can use multiple signal paths.

Do I need an extra SIM?

A SIM with a suitable data plan is needed for mobile internet. Oyster Connect can also use an available external Wi-Fi connection. Multi-SIM availability depends on your provider and tariff.

Does it work abroad?

Yes, where your plan permits roaming and mobile coverage is available.
